Terms and Conditions

1. Payment Terms

• All lessons must be paid in full before the session begins.

• Your session time is only confirmed once payment has been received.

• Packages/programs must be paid upfront unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.

• Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable.

• If you are late, the session will still end at the scheduled time.

• In the unlikely and unfortunate event that Frances needs to reschedule at the last minute, every effort will be made to find a new time that works for you, or a full credit will be given to your pre-paid session. 

3. No-Shows

• Failure to attend a session without notice is considered a no-show and is charged in full.

4. Packages & Expiry

• Packages must be used within 12 weeks of the commencement date.

• Unused sessions expire after this period.

5. Refund Policy

• Concerns regarding your lessons should be raised promptly so they can be addressed.

• All payments are non-refundable, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

• If more than 24 hours’ notice is given, the payment may be used as a make-up credit toward a future session.

• Make-up credits must be used within 6 weeks of the original session date and are subject to availability.

6. Vocal Health & Safety

• Any vocal injuries, medical conditions, or concerns must be disclosed.

• Students are responsible for monitoring their own vocal health.

• Frances Castley Vocal Coaching does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.

7. Results & Expectations

• Progress depends on consistency, practice, mindset, and physical health.

• No specific outcomes (such as vocal range changes or performance results) can be guaranteed, however that is the point of vocal coaching and every effort is made to help you reach those goals!

8. Recording Policy

• Students may record parts of lessons for personal practice only.

• Recordings may not be shared, published, or used commercially without consent.

• Frances will not record or share student content without consent.

9. Behaviour & Boundaries

• A respectful, supportive environment is expected from both parties.

• Frances may discontinue lessons if behaviour becomes unsafe or inappropriate. Students will receive a prorata refund on packages if any lessons are remaining. 

10. Privacy

• All personal information is kept confidential and used only for coaching and communication.

11. Workshops & Events (Optional)

• Workshop tickets must be paid upfront and are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.

• Tickets can be transferred to another person with notice.

12. Agreement

By booking a session, workshop, or program with Frances Castley Vocal Coaching, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
