Transform Fear and Overthinking into Confident Self-Expression in 10-Weeks

Kickstart Your Singing Journey

Take the guesswork out of singing, and build the skills you need to sing with confidence and freedom.

A 10-week live group coaching program designed to kickstart self-conscious singers on their journey toward confident self-expression.

Why being a “natural singer” isn’t needed to become great

You love singing — and would love to be able to sing really well.

You sing in the car, or around the house, or in the shower – when nobody else is listening. But when you really listen to your voice, you're not sure you like what you hear.

Maybe the notes don't always land where you want them to. Your voice doesn't sound the way you imagine it should. Or you hear other people sing and wonder why it seems to come so naturally to them.

So you start questioning whether you're actually any good.

Maybe you've even quietly decided that some people are simply born singers — and you might not be one of them.

But here's the problem with making that judgement:

You're judging what your voice is capable of before you've learned how to use it.

Singing isn't one mysterious ability that some people have and others don't. There are specific skills that influence how your voice sounds, how accurately you sing, and how confidently you wield this weapon — and those skills can be developed.

That's why simply singing more isn't necessarily the answer. If you don't understand what you're trying to change, it's difficult to know what to practise differently.

Practising more won’t necessarily make you sound better

Singing more often or waiting until you feel confident won't improve your singing. Confidence comes from understanding your voice, developing your vocal skills, and experiencing yourself getting better.

If nobody has ever taught you what to listen for, what singing should feel like, or what you can actually change, then of course you're wondering whether you're “good enough.”

You don't need to know whether you're a good singer before you begin.

You need the opportunity to find out what your voice can really do.

Frances is incredibly patient, encouraging...supportive...and [has] an uncanny attention to detail. I like that her lessons are not airy fairy and that her approach is backed by a clear understanding of how the voice works.

KICKSTART YOUR SINGING JOURNEY

What if, instead of wondering whether you have a “good” voice, you could actually understand what makes singing sound great — and learn how to create more of it?

Imagine knowing what to listen for when you sing, what to change when something doesn’t sound right, and what it feels like when your voice is working well.

Instead of simply singing a song over and over and hoping it gets better, you can develop the specific skills that change the way you sound.

You can learn to sing more accurately. You can explore different ways of using your voice and discover how they change its tone. You can learn what comfortable, appropriate effort feels like rather than assuming that singing should either feel effortless or difficult.

And as those pieces begin to make sense, something else starts to change: your confidence.

Because you're no longer relying on guesswork.

You begin to understand why something sounded better. You know what you did differently. And, importantly, you can learn how to do it again.

Imagine going from wondering “Am I actually any good at this?” to knowing that you have the skills to work on your voice and make it better.

Imagine choosing a song because it suits your voice, rather than wondering whether you'll be able to sing it.

Imagine hearing yourself sing and recognising the difference you're making.

And imagine eventually taking the voice you've been developing in private and having the confidence to share it with other people.

The goal isn't to prove that you were secretly a “good singer” all along. It's to give you the understanding and skills to become a better one.

It’s not just about hitting the right notes or improving the sound of your voice

It's about what being able to sing gives you permission to do.

Maybe you've always wanted to get up at karaoke instead of watching everyone else have a go.

Maybe you'd love to join a choir, sing with other musicians, perform for an audience or finally share a song you've written.

Maybe it's much simpler than that. You want to put on your favourite song at home, sing at full volume and actually enjoy the sound coming out of your mouth.

Or maybe this is something you've quietly wanted to be able to do for years — and you're tired of wondering whether you could.

Because becoming a better singer doesn't just change the way you sound.

It means knowing you can learn a song rather than immediately deciding it's beyond you.

It means being able to hear when something isn't quite right without that turning into “I'm terrible at this.”

It means having the confidence to be heard instead of automatically making yourself quieter when someone walks into the room.

And eventually, it might mean standing in front of other people, singing a song you've spent weeks working on, and realising:

I can actually do this.

You don't have to become a professional singer for learning to sing to matter.

Sometimes the thing you've wanted isn't a career.

You just want to be able to sing.

Meet Frances

Your New Vocal Coach

I've been singing for most of my life and spent 15 years performing professionally, with more than 350 weddings, corporate events and private functions under my belt.

I've recorded and released three singles and a five-track EP, performed my own original music — and even earned a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Performance, majoring in vocals.

But here's the strange part:

Even with all that experience, I still struggled with my own voice.

I'd worked with different singing teachers and learned plenty of exercises, but I didn't always understand why something worked, what I was actually doing differently when it did, andor how to recreate a consistently excellent sounds intentionally.

I wanted singing to make sense to me. Because once I could unlock this, I could be truly confident in my voice.

That curiosity eventually led me deeper into voice science and the Estill Voice Model. I gained my Estill Figure Proficiency certification and spent two years being mentored by Estill Mentor and Course Instructor Naomi Eyers while undertaking further teacher training.

This completely changed the way I thought about singing — and eventually, the way I taught it.

For the past four years, I've worked as a vocal coach, helping singers understand their voices rather than simply telling them to “sing it again” while hoping something changes. This was frustrating for me as a student, and I don’t ever want my students to feel like this – instead, I want to give precise, kind-but-clear instructions so they know exactly what to do to improve their voice, every time.

And – I've learned that technique is only part of the picture.

There's a person attached to the voice.

Singing can feel incredibly vulnerable, particularly when you're already questioning whether you're any good. That's why my approach considers both the physical skills involved in singing as well as the thoughts, beliefs and self-consciousness that can affect how freely you're able to use your vocal skills as we’re developing them.

It’s my great pleasure to have seen students go from being nervous to sing in front of me, to dominating singing at karaoke, sharing their voices with others on stage, and stepping into a full-time singing career.

Whether you consider yourself a “natural” doesn't actually matter. My mission is simply to provide the tools you need to discover your voice, strengthen it, and finally see what you're truly capable of achieving.

I combine evidence-based coaching with mindset and emotional support so you can build the skills, confidence, and self-trust to express yourself freely.

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

It’s Time To Kickstart Your Singing Journey

If you’re tired of putting your love for singing on the backburner because of fear and self-doubt, this program is for you.

This is where your singing journey begins.

Frances transformed my hesitant singing into confident expression. Her patient guidance made learning to sing feel achievable, and her encouragement never wavered. Because of her, I had the confidence to perform publicly for the first time at Ramsgate RSL on Sunday, 12 July 2026 . It was an unforgettable experience, and I truly felt amazing. Thank you, Frances!

Frequently Asked Questions

You Haven’t Heard What Your Voice Can Do Yet

Learning to sing isn't about discovering whether you were born with a “good” voice. It's about understanding the voice you have, developing the skills to use it, and giving yourself enough time and practice to experience what can change.

Ten weeks won't make you a finished singer. That's not the point. Kickstart Your Singing Journey is exactly that — a beginning. A chance to stop wondering what you might be capable of and actually start finding out.

But you do need to participate. Come to the sessions. Ask questions. Send me your videos. Practise between calls. Try things that feel unfamiliar. Let yourself sound imperfect while you're learning. The more willing you are to experiment, the more I'll be able to help you understand what's happening and what to work on next.

And when it comes time to share your song, you don't have to suddenly become fearless. Confidence doesn't mean never feeling nervous. It comes from knowing you've developed skills you can rely on — and discovering that you're capable of doing something you once weren't sure you could do.

You don't need to prove you're a singer before you begin.

You become one by beginning.
